| It literally causes people to stop in their tracks when they see it. |
| My husband and I donated this life-size artwork of "Forgiven" to our church this past summer in memory of our son, Tyler, who went home to Jesus on Feb. 17, 2006. He had his trust placed in Him, so we know he is safe in the Lord's arms now. In this life, however, our son had struggled for nearly 20 years with substance abuse/addiction. We claimed and clung to Prov. 20:11B throughout the heartache. God, in His mercy, saw fit not only to forgive Tyler, but also has now delivered him completely free from devastating bondage. This large canvas of "Forgiven" presently hangs in our church Welcome Center. It literally causes people to stop in their tracks when they see it. I, myself, did the same thing when I first saw it in our local bookstore; then I cried. We are hopeful that others will find their way to freedom in Christ as a result of seeing this magnificent painting, which says it all. Thank you. Janet (and Terry) Huff Bloomington, IL. |
